Charlie Brewer passed for 221 yards and a touchdown and ran for 75 yards and another score as 14th-ranked Baylor rolled to a 24-10 win over overmatched Texas on Saturday in Big 12 Conference action in Waco, Texas.

With the victory, Baylor (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) clinched a spot in the Big 12 championship game and a rematch against Oklahoma, who on Nov. 16 handed the Bears their only loss.

Brewer left the game after a being hit in the head on a run during the Bears' final, fourth-quarter scoring drive but could have reentered if needed.

Denzel Mims caught seven passes for 125 yards for Baylor in the win, its first against Texas since 2014.

The Longhorns, who were ranked in the top 10 to start the season, lost for the second straight game and fell to 6-5, 4-4 in Big 12.

Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger, who amassed 279 total yards (200 passing, 79 rushing), was held without a touchdown through the air or on the ground for the first time this season. He was sacked five times and threw an interception.

The Bears' John Lovett scampered, then bulled, his way into the end zone for a 28-yard TD run on the first snap of the second quarter for a 7-0 Baylor lead.

Texas's Keaontay Ingram ran 68 yards on the next-to-last play of the half to allow Cameron Dicker to boot a 48-yard field goal to bring the Longhorns within 7-3 at halftime.

The second half belonged to Baylor, in a big way. Brewer propelled himself over right guard for a 1-yard TD keeper to push the Baylor lead to 14-3 midway through the third quarter.

Mims hauled in Brewer's 12-yard touchdown pass to expand the Bears' advantage to 21-3 with 1:20 to play in the third. John Mayers kicked a 24-yard field goal at the 10:57 mark of the fourth quarter to make it 24-3 and the Bears cruised to the finish line.

Texas scored on the next to last play of the game on a 4-yard run by Daniel Young.
