DeMarr Langford Jr. had a team-high 15 points with seven rebounds to lead Boston College to a 73-60 victory against Columbia on Friday afternoon in a nonconference game at Chestnut Hill, Mass., to snap its three-game losing streak.

Jaeden Zackery added 14 points, Makai-Ashton Langford scored 11 and T.J. Bickerstaff pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds for Boston College (4-3), which improved to 4-0 at home this season.

Zackery had led the Eagles in scoring over back-to-back games. He scored a then-career-high 15 points in a 68-61 loss to Utah last Saturday before scoring 19 in a losing effort versus Rhode Island on Sunday.

The Eagles had dropped three straight on the road -- including two games to regional rival Rhode Island. The first was a road game at Kingston, R.I., before falling again at the Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Liam Murphy scored a game-high 19 points and Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa chipped in 17 points to lead Columbia (2-4).

Noah Robledo added eight points off the bench for the Lions, who lost their second straight game after picking up their first two wins of the season.

Boston College won despite behind outshot by Columbia. The Eagles went 26-of-62 (41.9 percent) from the floor while the Lions were 22-of-52 (42.3 percent). Boston College had a 48-28 rebounding advantage.

The Eagles led 40-33 at halftime and we're up as many as 14 at 68-54 with 6:10 remaining in the game.

BC opened a 16-9 lead at 13:39 of the opening period before Columbia used a 17-10 push to tie it at 26-all on Rubio De La Rosa's 3-pointer at the 5:41 mark. The Eagles ended the half with a 14-7 push to go up seven at the break.

Columbia returns home to face Lafayette on Monday night while Boston College hosts South Florida also on Monday.
