Thomas Dziagwa scored 19 points on 7-for-7 shooting as visiting Oklahoma State rode a dominating first-half performance to an 81-59 romp over Texas on Saturday afternoon in the Big 12 Conference regular-season finale for both teams in Austin, Texas.

Oklahoma State (17-14, 7-11 Big 12) led by 22 points at the half and never let the short-handed Longhorns, down to eight scholarship players, get closer than 19 points through the final 20 minutes.

Cameron McGriff added 19 points for the Cowboys, with Isaac Likekele scoring 15 and Lindy Waters III scoring 11. Oklahoma State, which began the conference season with eight straight losses, has won seven of their past 10 outings.

The Cowboys shot 66 percent from the field for the game and outrebounded Texas 36-19.

Kai Jones scored a career-high 20 points for Texas (19-12, 9-9) while Matt Coleman III added 18, all in the second half. The Longhorns, who had won five straight games, shot just 35.2 percent and finished 5 of 29 from beyond the arc.

Texas' huge loss at home could be a deciding factor in its chances to play in the NCAA Tournament. The Longhorns were without four injured players who have started games for them this season.

The Cowboys swamped Texas in the first seven minutes, roaring out to a 20-3 lead as the Longhorns' five turnovers produced 10 points for Oklahoma State.

Texas improved after the slow start and cut the Cowboys' lead to 34-21 on a dunk by Jones with 4:02 to play in the half. That was the Longhorns' final points of the half, as Oklahoma State scored the final nine points to claim a 43-21 advantage at the break.

Dziagwa led all scorers with 14 points over the first 20 minutes as Oklahoma State outshot Texas 61 percent to 25 percent in the half.

Andrew Jones paced Texas with eight points in the half; the Longhorns were 2 of 15 from 3-point range.
