Christian Bishop snapped a tie on a dunk with less than a second left Saturday to give No. 11 Creighton a 67-65 Big East Conference road win over Providence.

Noah Horchler tied the score with seven seconds left for the Friars (7-4, 3-2) as he converted a layup. But the Bluejays (8-2, 4-1) rushed the ball down the floor and Marcus Zegarowski found Bishop for the winning points.

Zegarowski scored a game-high 20 points for Creighton, hitting six of his 10 3-pointers while dishing out four assists. Damien Jefferson added 18 points, eight rebounds and six steals. Mitch Ballock tallied 14 points, going 4 of 9 on 3-pointers.

David Duke and Nate Watson each scored 13 points to pace Providence, but the duo combined to make only 9 of 30 shots from the field. Horchler added 12 and A.J. Reeves hit for 10 points.

Duke had a chance to win the game with a 3-pointer, but his shot missed as time expired. It was a fitting way to end the game for the Friars, who made just 22 of 65 shots (33.8 percent) on the day.

Providence worked the offensive glass early to get out to a 13-9 lead at the 13:06 mark as Watson converted a layup. A 3-pointer by Horchler with 9:31 left increased the advantage to 22-15.

But Ballock drained a long 3-ball on Creighton's next possession, setting the tone for the rest of the half. Beginning with Jefferson's layup with 7:23 remaining, the Bluejays rattled off 15 consecutive points to take a 33-24 lead.

Ballock sent Creighton to the locker room in style, taking an Antwann Jones pass and drilling a 3-pointer from about two steps inside the halfcourt line as time expired. That made it 40-32 for the visitors at halftime.
