Jared Butler scored a season-high 28 points to help keep No. 2 Baylor undefeated with a 67-49 win at TCU in a Big 12 game on Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas.

Baylor hasn't been tested much in the second half this season, taking every game by at least 11 points and winning by an average of more than 28 points per game.

But midway through the second half, the Bears led by just three, 45-42.

From there, though, the Bears dominated as Butler hit three 3-pointers in the final 10 minutes, his first coming in an 8-0 run that helped Baylor (11-0, 4-0 Big 12) get some cushion.

Butler scored 16 of his points after halftime, hitting four second-half 3-pointers.

After struggling from behind the arc in the first half, Baylor was 5 of 9 on 3-pointers after the break.

In the closing seconds of the first half, Butler drove toward the basket with help of a screen on TCU's Mike Miles.

Butler went into two other defenders, losing the ball. Miles, recovering from the screen, deflected the ball with his left hand into his right, quickly dribbled around Matthew Mayer and heaved it up from about 60 feet out, off the backboard and through to give the Horned Frogs a 28-27 lead at the break.

Miles helped fuel the Horned Frogs (9-4, 2-3 Big 12) throughout the first half, with three 3-pointers and 15 points by the break.

The rest of the Horned Frogs were just 4 of 13 from the field in the half.

In addition to its shooting troubles, TCU also struggled to hold onto the ball, turning it over 12 times in the first half.

But the Horned Frogs got to the free-throw line and defended on the perimeter to stay in the game.

TCU made 10 first-half free throws while Baylor hit just four.

The Bears came into the game leading Division I in 3-point shooting at 43.6 percent but were just 1 of 10 from beyond the arc before the break.

Miles led the Horned Frogs with 17 points but missed all three of his second-half field goals.
